“Tax Max” Program Disclosure Statement (“Statement”)

Below please find the terms, conditions and important information regarding the “Tax Max” program offered by U.S. Auto Sales, Inc. (“We”, “Us” or “U.S. Auto”).

• U.S. Auto’s “Tax Max” Program enables you to use your tax refund as a down payment or deferred down payment for the vehicle you have chosen to finance.

• TaxMax, a third party tax processing company, will prepare and submit your taxes to the United States Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) for processing. We are not an agent, affiliate or related company of TaxMax. 

• You will be presented with (and asked to sign) TaxMax’ estimated tax return quote outlining the amount of your refund, applicable TaxMax fees and the total amount of your check (less the fees).  

• If you accept the quote, you will receive an email/text stating what amount you can receive as a tax advance loan.  

• If you decide to obtain a tax advance loan, you must sign a loan application with Tax Max’ bank partner (e.g., MetaBank). Approval of the loan application is subject to the bank partner’s underwriting criteria.

• If the loan application is accepted, you must sign a loan agreement with TaxMax’ bank partner (e.g., MetaBank) who will advance you up to $6,000 of your anticipated tax refund depending on your eligibility.

• The amount of your tax refund and, if applicable, your tax advance loan (less applicable fees) will be sent to U.S. Auto via an electronic “TaxMax” check (“Check”)

• Once you select a vehicle, U.S. Auto will provide you with a “Total Down Payment Amount”.  A portion of this amount must be paid prior to delivery of the vehicle and the remaining amount may be paid in up to three (3) “Deferred” down payments. These amounts are subject to underwriting approval.

• If you decide to purchase a vehicle from Us, then you will need to make the down payment required by underwriting prior to accepting delivery of the vehicle.

• If you use the Check to make the down payment and the amount of the Check exceeds your required down payment, then We will return any excess funds on a debit card.

• You are not required to purchase a vehicle from Us. If you decide not to purchase a vehicle from Us, then We will provide you with the “TaxMax” tax refund or tax advance loan check sent to us.

• You may allow another individual to use your Check to purchase a vehicle from Us subject to the information contained in this Statement.

• U.S. Auto and any assignee of your MVRISC will not be liable for any adjustments or deductions made by the IRS.
