When you’re ready to buy a car, you’ll need to bring certain documents to a dealership. At U.S. Auto Sales, your local BHPH dealership, you’ll need to bring your valid driver’s license, proof of residence, proof of income, and three valid references. Keep reading below to learn more about what you need to bring, or contact your closed US Auto Sales dealership for questions and concerns.
If you don’t have a driver’s license due to a disability, you can contact us at 844-479-1508. We’ll discuss accommodation in these circumstances. If your driver’s license is not valid due to being expired, you’ll need to renew your driver’s license at your local DMV before purchasing your new vehicle.
Proof of income shows us that you can afford to purchase a vehicle. To verify this, we need two of your most recent pay stubs. If you are not currently receiving paper pay stubs from your employer, there should be an option to print your electronic pay stub.
We need proof of residence so we can make sure your bills are reaching you in the correct place each month. For proof of residence, you should bring us two current bills with your name and address on them. We’re flexible with the type of bill you bring, but a good option is a utility bill such as your electric bill or water bill. The important thing is that your name and address are included, which is the case with these types of bills.
For your three references, you can use household members for two of the three references. The third reference should not be a household member. For the third reference, one option is a coworker. To gather your references, list the names and phone numbers of the three people you’ve asked to be your reference. The phone numbers must be active and working personal phone numbers, not work numbers.
