When you’re shopping for a used vehicle, it is important to choose a dealership that offers a warranty like U.S. Auto Sales. All vehicles, new and used, can have defects, which is why new vehicles are given warranties, but many used-car dealerships fail to do the same. How you can determine whether or not a pre-owned vehicle comes with a warranty, is to check the Buyer’s Guide printed in the vehicle’s window. This is something all dealers are required by law to provide with every used car. Towards the bottom of the guide, there are two checkboxes for either “Dealer Warranty” or “As Is.” Whichever box is checked determines whether the vehicle comes with a warranty.
Buying “as is” is never the way to go because as a consumer, you are agreeing to take the vehicle in whatever condition it is in at the time of sale. Dealerships who sell vehicles “as is” are not willing to stand behind their standards of getting a vehicle ready for sale. At U.S. Auto Sales, we offer a limited warranty on every vehicle that passes through our lot because we stand behind our vehicle quality standards. This warranty covers the expense of certain repairs for the first 30 days or 1,000 miles of ownership, whichever comes first.
Before sell a vehicle, we have one of our technicians give it a thorough quality inspection. Maintaining high quality for our vehicles is important to the U.S. Auto Sales team, and it’s one of the reasons that our customers come back again and again for their next used car. Our 172-point inspection helps ensure that our cars look new and drive like new. The biggest benefit is the peace of mind you get knowing that your new pre-owned car has been looked over and repaired as needed.
